Ghana Girl Guides Association Bids YESS Volunteers 2023 Farewell.
Ghana Girl Guides Association has organized a farewell get-together for YESS Volunteers 2023. The event which was held at the Baa & Bean restaurant at East Legon on 19th July, 2023 was organized to say goodbye to three volunteers as they return to their mother associations come Friday, 21st July, 2023. Present at this event were the Chief Commissioner of the Ghana Girl Guides Association, Zakiya Abdul Wahab, the International Commissioner, Mrs. Cynthis Labram, the Senior YESS Country Coordinator, Sylvia Nicole Eshun and other members of the YESS BUS.
The participants received certificates and other packages from the association for their good work and self-comportment. The YESS BUS, alongside the volunteers, shared experiences and remarkable moments they had during their stay. The YESS Volunteers, Lydia Jumwah from Kenya, Vina Andrinasolo from Madagascar and Sisam Pariyaar from Nepal Girl Guides Associations had visited Ghana for the past six months on a Youth Exchange South to South (YESS) Program.
