In-service training on Girl Guides’ new membership system

The membership department of the Ghana Girl Guides Association (GGGA) has trained staff and leaders (volunteers) on how to effectively operate the new online membership system of the Association on its website.

Spearheaded by the Membership Commissioner, Ms. Rose Yeboah and facilitated by Peter Asante Addo of SIA-Africa and GGGA, the training was held at the associations training center, Achimota on Saturday, 24th June, 2022, under the auspices of Mrs. Zakiya Abdul Wahab, the Chief Commissioner of the association.

The one day in-service training centered on how to register new members online, how to register schools/institutions or groups, how to pay bulk dues, how to register individual members from different schools/institutions into the association’s database using the “Girl Guide Console” of the new membership system accessible to administrators only.

The training also equipped staff and volunteers on how to interpret the website’s new interface using the online shopping platform, making online donations and getting online support/assistance from the association.

The association as part of its plans for the Membership Drive Project would move all registrations to the new online system at the end of the year 2022.
