Plastic Tide Turners Challenge; Paper Craft Camp

The National Training Team of the Ghana Girl Guides Association has organized camps for Girl Guides and Ananse Guides from different Schools.

The purpose of the camp was to take the girls through plastic tide management and to learn some crafts.
Plastics have become a global challenge and equipping girls with relevant skills to manage them in their homes and schools is a step in empowering them to take action.

The girls being divided into patrols used their innovative and creative mindsets and creativity skills to come up with some things you can use plastics for. These included flower vases, pencil holders, and many others.

The girls also worked on some paper crafts skills where they learned how to make paper bags and wallpapers.
Badges were awarded to girls who were outstanding in the various activities
