GGGA holds free digital marketing training for young ladies

The Ghana Girl Guides Association on Saturday, 14th November, 2020 held a free digital marketing training session for young ladies in the association of ages between fifteen and twenty-five years old. The training took place at the Ghana Girls Guides training center, Achimota which looked at empowering young ladies in the field of digital marketing and its related fields.

A session driven by Peter Asante Addo, a beneficiary of the Sustainable Initiatives Alliances for Africa (SIA-Africa) aimed at growing the interest of digital marketing in young women and also to train them to get hands-on skills in digital marketing and related issues.

The one day training session targeted at training young ladies in the aspects of social media marketing, video marketing, email marketing, SMS marketing, website marketing, development and management and SEO optimization; a more lucrative field for outstanding businesses.

The association is looking forward to organizing more related sessions in coming years including training of young women in the fields of photography, videography and graphic design. This would help shape and develop young women in digitalization as the world keeps upgrading its digital existence.
