Ghana Girl Guides Association trains two young women in making reusable sanitary pads.

Three young women from the SOS-Hermann Gmeiner International College visited the National Training Centre to learn how to make reusable sanitary pads as part of their school community project facilitated by the National Training Commissioner, Mrs. Stephanie Naa Dei Ayariga.

Ashley Asante, Alicia Asante, and their youngest sister Alison Asante are passionate about making a change in their society. Ashley the team lead of the three is passionate about menstrual Hygiene management and how she can support girls including the hearing impaired in rural areas to manage their periods. She intends to impact her community with the skills learned at the center.

Ms. Grace Wetsi, the mother of these young girls indicated her support for helping her wards be agents of change.
